Yup , Some people read in the Summer Vacation. No Joke!

At the beginning of this summer I had about ..  I dunno 30 books on my to-read list?
Around June another 13 books were added.
And right now I still have to read about 13 :P
The reason I'm not reading as often as I planned to , is that it's summer.
Summer of course..
A lot of you would ask : Some is reading in Summer? SUMMER?
Yup , << that's the answer.
And this someone is MOI!
What is so wrong about reading ?
I don't get it!

I tidies up my desk today.
I had the weird feeling I was in a war.
Of course my 43 books I anted to read in summer are all on my desk..
+ My Laptop
+My Phone/ITouch/Sims/Magazines/Camera/etc.
+a lamp. :)
Somehow I managed to put them in a way it looks like I tidied my desk.. All book over each other. Laptop there Camera there.. :P
To be honest I'm not a fan of room tidying.
But , seriously , name one person who loves it to tidy..

The Internet is actually worth something!

Let me tell you , being on 7 different websites, having conversations with around 13 people,  updating all programs on your laptop because you have been too lazy to update them before and getting mad because ITunes is being dumb at the same times isn't cool.
I have a stupid habit called "downloading every program you see".

Internet :

• Internet Explorer
• Firefox
• Safari
• Google Chrome

I used to use Internet Explorer but at the end it was just too dumb.

Then I switched to Firefox , that was the first time I knew something called "tabs" you could open in one page, so you don't have to click on the Firefox sign a bazillion times to go to several Websites.

I never really planned to download Safari  but after I updated my ITunes it just downloaded itself. Turned out it's pretty awesome!

But I use Google hrome for years now and I am not disappointed at all. Turned out that when I download Google Chrome  it makes me offers for other Google programs I can download free.

What I just did .. I downloaded like 7 programs at the same time.

I also changed my Google Chrome background , which is black with white , grey and pink circles.

List of things I downloaded with Google Chrome:

1. Kind of a Google Button right next to the start button at the bottom of the screen. For example: You can  just type a link in , and it opens it for you. Or you type " Pictures of Fudge" (for example) and it opens a Googles Images site for you with Fudge pictures. Translated: It made my life in the past hour way easier.
2. avast! Free Antivirus, which is scanning my Laptop right now.
3. There's a search bar at the top of my Google Chrome page now. Fast Google Searching I think.
4. Google Desktop including Clock , News Reel ,  Updates on Blog I follow  , Notes  , etc.
5. Google Mail.
6. Google Calendar.
7. Google Earth.
8. Google Docs.

I could also download Adobe Flashplayes and Picasa but because I already have both programs I just left them out.

To make the Techno talk even more "Dino" , a friend of mine , had a loooooong discussion about IPads , IPones and ITouches, Internet Explorers ( Like the one listed above )

And a lot more!

I'm done with the first book and  halfway through the second one.

It is a completely different story!

I mean  Oh-Em-Ge!

And what seriously annoys me is that Damons name isn't mentioned at the beginning or in the middle of Book nr.1!

And even when his name is mentioned and they talk with/about him it's really at the end!

But the books are awesome can't wait to go to the Bookshop and buy Book nr.3!

Ramadan

For a lot of people Ramadan is something strange.
If you don't know what it is :
Ramadan is a month in Arabic. In this month Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset.
Yes , the first 3 days are always hard. But that's normal ..
But after the first few days it's very easy to fast.
I love Ramadan it's like Christmas for a whole month.
Your family is all together. And for some reason no one is arguing in school or at home or on the streets or anywhere!
And No I am not hungry :P

 I thought while I looked at my best friend , Carla , who was making fun of Taryn .. the geek.

Did I change ? 

Not too long ago I was the one of those who she was making fun of, the one she always laughed at and always tried to make feel bad. 

Until , one day , I stood up to her. Told her how I felt and that she couldn't treat me like this anymore..

Apparently she liked the way I talked to her. She asked me to join her and her clique at lunch. Of course I said yes. Leaving my old best friend Taryn alone.. the one she was laughing at now.

And way too fast than I would have liked it to happen I was one of them.

I no longer felt tiny and unimportant , I don't wear my favorite clothes anymore. I wore what is trendy and cool and .. actually everything Carla is wearing, just to impress her and ignore my real self even more.

At least I finally noticed what was happening to me. Now that I realized it, I had to stop it. I didn't like the *monster* I was changing to...

I didn't want to be mean to other kids like Carla was to me. 

Carla was in the middle of a laugh attack , pointing at Taryn as she was trying to pick her bag of the ground without letting her food fall in the ground.

I will never forget how WTF-like Carla looked when I stood up! 

It still makes me laugh! Her mouth looked like she was in the middle of a silent  : Oh .

The sandwich she held in her hand fell on her tablet making a funny "Plob" noise.

Smilin I walked to Taryn , picked her bag up and gave it to her , giving her my prettiest Smile I could draw on my face.

She looked confused but also smiled at me. 

"Okay , you have some serious explaining to do! " , Carla said when I walked back to our table .

" What is it not allowed to help a good old best friend?" I picked an apple up and tried to look like I didn't care that Carla was sounding like when she was making fun of me.

"She is a geek. I thought you finally wanted to leave your past behind and be popular?"

"Bad tthat thought aren't always right.. "

I took my stuff and walked away leaving Carla with a question-mark face behind.
